Open Access Policy

Pedagonal: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan is a fully Open Access journal. We operate on the core principle that making research freely and immediately available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge, accelerates the advancement of educational practices, and removes access barriers for educators and scholars worldwide.

Compliance with BOAI Pedagonal strictly adheres to the globally recognized definition of Open Access established by the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). All published content is available online immediately upon publication and is completely free of charge to users and their institutions.

In accordance with BOAI principles, users are explicitly permitted to:

  • Read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal.

  • Crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose.

Users may perform these actions without asking for prior financial, legal, or technical permission from the publisher or the author, aside from those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself.

Copyright and Licensing Mechanism To legally enforce this Open Access commitment, all articles published in Pedagonal are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Under this policy, the copyright is retained by the authors, who grant the journal the right of first publication. The CC BY-SA 4.0 license ensures that readers possess unrestricted rights to copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the material in any medium or format, provided that:

  1. The original authors are properly acknowledged and Pedagonal is cited as the original venue of publication.

  2. If users remix, transform, or build upon the material, they must distribute their contributions under the same license (CC BY-SA 4.0) as the original.
